1.1 What is Grokinder?

Grokinder is a rental subscription service for babies clothing. With a monthly subscription fee, you get a bag of premium quality baby clothes, for your use as long as they fit. Whenever your little one outgrows the clothes, you can then swap in the old bag for a new one in the next size up. Refer here for more details.

1.2 What size do you go up to?

For now, we are offering clothes from newborn up to 2 years old. We do wish to expand our collection to beyond 2 years old in time to come – stay tuned for more updates!

1.3 How much does it cost?

We have 3 different plans to suit different needs, starting from $29/month. Head to Subscribe to see more details!

1.4 How long can I keep each bag for?

As long as you like!
Grokinder bags grow with your baby, so you can keep the clothes for as as long as they still fit your child. Just return your outgrown bag when you are ready for the next size. Most families tend to keep each bag for around 3 months.

With effect from 1 Jan 2021, we will also be accepting requests for swaps within the same size range. You can choose to swap for a change in styles or designs. These ad-hoc swaps will be limited to once a month.

1.5 Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely yes – we understand that your needs will change, and we would love to have you try our service without any obligations. You can cancel your subscription any time you like without any penalty.


2.1 What is in a Grokinder bag?

Each Grokinder bag is a capsule wardrobe curated for your baby's age and size.

In each bag you will find 6, 12 or 20 essential baby wear, depending on which plan you choose to start with. Typically, it will include short-sleeved bodysuits or rompers, long-sleeved bodysuits, pants/shorts and sleepsuits. Head to Subscribe to see more details!

2.2 Where do your clothes come from?

We source for clothes from sustainable and ethical brands locally and worldwide. We try to choose organic as much as we can as we believe they are kinder to the environment and the people who make them. They are also safer for babies, especially for those with sensitive skin conditions. You can refer to our clothes page for more details.

2.3 Are all your clothes organic?

More than 90% of our inventory are currently certified organic by GOTS. We still have a handful of non-organic items remaining that are still in good enough condition to be utilized, so we will continue to use them until they reach the end of their lifespan. We do strive to be 100% organic in the next 12 months. If you have a preference for only organic items, let us know and we will try to accommodate.

2.4 How are the clothes cleaned between rentals?

All our clothes will be inspected for stains and damages, then sent to a professional washing facility to be cleaned and sanitized.
We promise that the clothes you receive will be as clean as they can be – more so than any you can buy.

2.5 How should I take care of the clothes?

Just like how you would do so for your own clothes! While most of our clothes can be machine washed, we do recommend that you follow the washing instructions of each garment.

2.6 What happens if I stain or damage the clothes?

We know that babies are messy, so don’t worry about it! The subscription fees you pay insure you for all of life’s messy moments – stains from feeding, the wear from crawling and even the occasional poonami. Whatever happens, we would still like you to return all the clothes – so that we can assess and treat the damages or stains accordingly.

2.7 Are the clothes hygienic or clean?

Yes, definitely more so than brand new clothes that you get from any store – as all our clothes will be professionally cleaned and sanitized before they are sent to you.

2.8 What happens to clothes that can’t be reused?

At Grokinder, we aim to reduce waste as much as possible - so any returned clothes that are not rentable are reused elsewhere or recycled and broken down into fibres to use in new garments.


3.1 How and when will I be billed?

You will be billed monthly for your rental subscription. You will first be billed when you subscribe from our store, and your next recurring bill will begin one month from the first billing date. All charges will be deducted from the credit card you provided to us upon checkout.

You can login to your account any time to see when you will next be billed.

3.2 How do I request for a swap to the next size up?

You can login to your account anytime to request for a swap. Click on:

Manage subscriptions -> Products in your subscription -> Swap product.
Then select your bag in the next size up.

We will contact you to arrange for the delivery of the new bag and collection of the old bag within 5 working days of your request.

For ad-hoc swaps (within the same size range), contact us via email or DM us on Instagram.

3.3 How do I change my subscription plan (example from a Standard plan to a Premium Plan)?

You can login to your account anytime to request for a change in subscription plan. Click on:

Manage subscriptions -> Products in your subscription -> Swap product.
Then select the plan and size you want.

We will contact you to arrange for the delivery of the new items and collection of the old items within 5 working days of your request

Please note that for product swaps with a change in pricing, you will be charged the new product price on the next billing date following your swap request. There will be no refunds for swaps processed before your revised monthly billing, in the event you downgrade a plan.

3.4 How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime by sending an email to grokinder@gmail.com with the subject title: Cancellation.

Kindly make your cancellation requests at least 5 working days before your next billing date. We will arrange for a collection of your clothes upon receipt of your cancellation request. Please note that you will have to return all outstanding items at least 2 working days before the end of your current billing period – if not, you might still be charged on your next billing date.
